January 14th the Texas Collie Rescue will be hosting an adoption event. We are made up of all volunteers with a mission to help these dogs. Our goal is to place them in the best possible permanent homes.
January 15th Pug Hearts of Houston will be hosting an adoption event. PugHearts of Houston is a non-profit rescue dedicated to giving unwanted and neglected Pugs a second chance. It is staffed by a network of volunteers in and around the greater Houston, TX area.
January 22nd the Treat ‘Em Right Rescue will host an adoption event. They are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of the American Pit Bull Terrier and other “bully” breeds. All the dogs come from high-kill shelters, police raids, or confiscations resulting from animal cruelty cases. They often take in dogs that have been the victims of indescribable abuse and neglect. Through these education and advocacy initiatives, they believe that they can restore the reputation of a breed that was once America’s favorite dog.
January 28th Golden Beginnings will host an adoption event. Established in May 1999, Golden Beginnings is a voluntary non-profit, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization. They rely on donations and fund raising activities, with all proceeds going directly to cover expenses for foster dogs and veterinary care for Goldens in need.
